The Welton Scout and Guide HQ Management Committee exists to provide a safe, welcoming space where members of our community can grow and discover who they are.
Our committee is made up of a collection of youth group volunteers, parents and members of the wider community. We welcome anyone who feels they have something to contribute. There are a lot of elements involved in providing our facility and as the owners of Baden Hall we aspire to provide the best space possible.

Our Funding
Our management committee is funded almost entirely by subscriptions paid by Girlguiding and Scouting units, each unit pays the same contribution towards costs and subscription amounts are reviewed by the committee each year. Each year we strive to strike a tricky balance between charging the amount needed to keep Baden Hall open and keeping costs as low as possible.
The only additional funding we receive comes from small grants from local parish councils (which are applied for on a case by case basis to cover specific improvements as grants cannot be used to cover running costs) and donations from the public either directly or via contributions at Christmas events, etc.
We try to keep costs as low as possible but unfortunately some of our largest expenses (insurance, electricity, gas, etc) are still significant so every penny really does count.

We are always on the lookout for people to join our small management committee. Our volunteers are involved in lots of different ways from building maintenance to admin.
